Skount was born on June 12, 1985. Although he was born in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, his childhood was spent in Almagro, Spain– part of a very important Historical-Artistic Zone. His work of art has a great focus on street art, and he is known for his highly detailed and vibrant characters. These characters are often delightful and full of imagination.While his art mediums are fundamental to his creations, Skount holds no limit to his imagination. His wide range of art interaction include mural painting, music, canvas-based works, performances, video art, sculptures, and installations. As a matter of fact, the Spanish artist Skount is a complete artist from every single angle. He is known to be an illustrator, a writer, and a performer just to name a few. The classical Spanish theatre in his hometown inspires greatness in Skount.

Fascinated by the wonders of the world, Skount currently enjoys traveling the world. In fact, he feels painting worldwide is one of his major accomplishments. Not only that, but he has also managed to meet a variety of new people, obtained the opportunity to study other cultures, and is highly intrigued by differences presented within each experience. Inspired by each distinguishable step in life, he holds a strong sense of direction. Every experience he holds true to his heart and is inspired by traveling, learning, and investigating his interests. At any given time he may feel the need to accomplish more. His passion for different cultures is strong and has opened up his perspective to new ideas. Every second of his life is cherished, and every day he grows by what he sees and feels. Pioneers of “stencil graffiti” in Italy and self-taught street artists. All the work of Sten & Lex results from an individual path that developed far from art academies and design institutes. Their activity starts in Rome in 2001. They were the first artists in the world to introduce the half shade technique that they have nicknamed “Hole School” in stencil. Orticanoodles is the pseudonym for two Italian artists, a very active and tight-knit duo, composed of Wally and Alita. Wally was born in Carrara, where he attended Art School and in 1996 he moved to Milan to attend the course in Advertising Art Direction at IED (European Institute of Design). Here in Milan, he met Alita.  Both in love of the stencil technique, they began to create drawings and handmade posters, quickly making themselves known in the street-art world. read more

1010 (correctly pronounced as ten-ten) is a Hamburg-based contemporary artist widely renowned for his obscure street pieces underlined by amazing effects of optical illusion. This artist creates his urban confusions on walls all around the world, giving them unique aesthetics that make them seem like they are portals to other worlds. Anthony Lister struck Los Angeles like a hurricane hitting walls from Venice to Downtown in a whirlwind two weeks in the run up to his show at New Image Art Gallery. The numerous street pieces served as inspiration for the multitude of paintings he worked on and exhibited in September of 2015. An exhibit that not only featured his exquisite paintings on canvas, but also his bronze sculptures, VR experience, and a live performance that shattered expectation. Swoon is a Brooklyn-based artist whose life-sized woodblock and cut-paper portraits hang on walls in various states of decay in cities around the world. She is also known as a designer of several large-scale installations, most notably the Swimming Cities of Switchback Sea in 2008. Her pieces have been collected by of The Museum of Modern Art, The Brooklyn Museum of Art, and the Tate Modern. Major pieces have appeared at PS1, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, and Black Rat Press. Swoon has been traveling for the past several years creating exhibitions and workshops in the United States and abroad. Swoon is known for being mysterious and modest – she didn’t want to tag her art in the beginning of her career. She felt best about working anonymously and worked that way until her boyfriend told her he had a dream in which the police was chasing two of them because they were writing graffiti and tagging them with the name Swoon. The artist taught that the sound of the name Swoon sounds nice and she accepted the suggestion of her boyfriend. A few years later, she indeed became recognized under that name. She found it funny that people believed she was a man and expected the Swoon-guy to do shows in their neighborhoods. read more
